Now on to the team. We finished third in the league, so we gained that all important CL spot. That’s all you can really ask for. Well, you could have asked for us to get that second and auto group stage spot but ohh well. It’s better to be in the CL qualifying rounds than not in it at all.

Euro 2008:
Heiko Westermann, Kevin Kurányi(Germany), Ivan Rakitić(Croatia) were the sole representatives of Schalke at The Euro’s. I was not able to see Rakitic play at all due to work(that goes for all the games really). I did manage to catch a few Germany games on my days off/out of work early. I must say that I was not overly impressed with Kuranyi. This may be to do the fact that I was actually watching the game and not specific players. I only remember seeing him a few times in play build ups or shots. Other than those few times, I think we can chalk this up to “could have been better”. I apologize if I am wrong on this, but im trying to recall from memory, and am too lazy to scour through youtube/dailymotion clips. sue me . Can’t pass judgment on Westermann assssssssss he did not play.

Transfer Season:

eh, nothing really major here. Granted I have not been following that closely due to work, friends and that damn 360. If something major happens I will deff make a new post.

A More Important Note:

Alright, I Figure I may as well throw this out in the open. If anyone of your three or four people reading this are interested in helping me out with the page, or even taking over captaincy from me, let me and/or someone from the main page know. I feel guilty that I do not update this as much as it should be done. If someone feels like they can do a better job and devote more time to it than I do, please do not hesitate to say something.

CL: I did not get a chance to watch the second game. But from what I have read it was a close encounter with yet again, only one goal. Thats about all any team can ask for against a team like Barça. And we are now second in the league. Thats pretty good.

Plus one of my RA’s is a complete douche-twat-assfuck and got me in trouble tonight. So Im going to be pissed off for a few days.

Anyways, on a more serious note, Schalke and I. I’ll be the first to admit that Schalke is not my first team, AS Roma would occupy that spot. But Schalke definitely fills the #2 spot. They are kind of like that freshmen kid in high school who has spunk and stands up to seniors. or something along those lines, you get what Im saying(i hope). I really don’t know why I started watching them, just something about them that I like really. I just happened to be watching GolTv one time last year and watched the game. Im pretty sure that I saw Kuranyi totally own a defender. I try to watch the games whenever I can. Like I said above, it’s a combination of those four things above that usually stops me from seeing the games. So my apologies if I am not able to watch a game and review it. I’ll try my best to watch the games though. So if anyone has a site where i could download games that I miss, that would be pretty sweet.
