Andreas Müller speaks of Andrey Voronin and Zé Roberto
By: Porter | January 8th, 2009Per the Bundesliga e-zine, Schalke Andreas Müller addressed rumours of clubs interest of Andrey Voronin and the highly problematic Zé Roberto situation:
Of Liverpool’s Andrey Voronin, presently on-loan with the Berliners he said:
“He is a good player, but there is definitely nothing to this report. Someone is simply trying to make him even more appealing by attaching our name to his.”
Regarding Zé Roberto he noted:
“We accessed him via his adviser, Roger Wittmann. Wittmann will visit him in Brazil in the next few days. There are intensive talks going on, to find an amicable solution to the current problem. I believe we will be able to put everything in order very soon.
“He said that personally, the only important thing was to play football again. But it obviously cannot work this way (and) a hefty fine is unavoidable at this point.”
