Peter Løvenkrands and Albert Streit join Schalke II
By: Porter | January 5th, 2009In a very straight forward statement to the entire club Peter Løvenkrands and Albert Streit have been demoted to Schalke II. With both players disgruntled with their playing time and interested in moving elsewhere Andreas Müller und Fred Rutten left little in doubt how the deal with these types of situations.
Mr Müller explained that the decision was made “solely out sporting reasons.” He went on the add that “both players have recently expressed in the past that they would leave Schalke gladly” and given the clubs ambitions they need players focused on the team and not thinking of playing elsewhere.
